4 killed as train rams into autorickshaw
Anand, Jun 10 (UNI) Three women and a child were killed when a train collided with a ''chagda (autorickshaw)'' at Pandoli village in Petlad town on the Khambhat-Anand railway line today.
The mishap occurred at 1530 hrs at an unmanned railway crossing when the Memu train (No 526) collided with the autorickshaw while on its way from Khambhat to Anand, said Petlad rural PSI R I Desai.
The deceased have been identified as Bharatiben Sureshbhai Parmar (46), her two-and- a half year old daughter Kamila, Santokben G Solanki (45) and Lalitaben K Solanki (33). Six people were injured, four of them men.
