3 held on murder charges

Nadiad, Gujarat, June 10 (UNI) Police have arrested three persons in connection with the murder of an youth on June 6.

Nikhil Niranjan Shah (22), a resident of Gangamayya Society here, was killed over money matters.

Nikhil had loaned Rs 5000 to a friend Keyur Mahendra Patel. When Keyur failed to return his money as promised, Nikhil had taken away his mobile.

This infuriated Keyur who conspired with two of his friends Dhaval Mahendra Patel and Vrajesh Surendra Patel, and allegedly murdered Nikhil on June 6. The body was, however, found two days later.

One of the arrested has told the police he joined in the crime after watching the film ''Shootout at Lokhandwala.'' UNI
