Two died in lightning

Thanjavur, June 9 (UNI) Two farmers were charred to death when lightning struck them in this district, last evening.

According to sources, Manickavasaguru (34) from Thokkalickal was travelling by a bullock cart when lightning struck him. The bullocks also died on the spot.

In another incident Orathanadu (36) from Sillathoor village near here, who was engaged in work in the field also died in lightning.
