PM returns from visit to Germany
New Delhi, June 9 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today returned from his four-day visit to Germany where he attended a summit of the G8 with four other emerging global powers -- China, Brazil, South Africa and Mexico.
During the visit to Berlin and Heiligendamm, the Baltic sea resort where the summit was held, Dr Singh also held talks with several leaders present there, including US President George W Bush, Russian President Vladimir Putin and British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
National Security Adviser M K Narayanan and Foreign Secretary Shivshankar Menon had accompanied the Prime Minister.
