Lifer commits suicide

Hardoi, Jun 9 (UNI) A lifer allegedly committed suicide by hanging in Hardoi district prison here this afternoon.

Official sources said Akhilesh of Vaishali district, Bihar was brought to the prison on June 2 for undergoing life term in a murder case.

He hanged himself in the prison lavatory.

Later, a jail guard was suspended in this regard.
