'Biljli Darbar' in Phagwara

Phagwara, Jun 9 (UNI) After 'Sangat Darshan' programme of the state government, the Punjab State Electricity Board has now come forward to hear and resolve the grievances of the people by holding 'Bijli Darbars' in the state.

In the ongoing such series, the PSEB held a 'Bijli Darbar' at its office here today in which Deputy Chief Engineer B S Sekhon listened to the complaints of the consumers.

As many as 19 of the total 20 complaints were resolved on the spot during Bijli Darbar.

Mr Sekhon said the Board authorities had now come to the door steps of the consumers to listen their complaints in stead of the consumers making rounds to the PSEB offices.

He said most of the consumers complained about low voltages, overloaded transformers and faulty billing.
