Two elephants entered Raniganj from Dalma range

Asansol, June 8 (UNI) Two elephants of Dalma hill range had been seen roaming in the Raniganj locality.

Forest officials yesterday said that the elephants entered the village after crossing the Damodar river, near Andal of Burdwan district.

Forest personnel tried to take them back towards the Dalma range via Bankura district.

However, the elephants did not cause any harm to anyone, an official of Asansol forest range said here today.
