Triple crown for Rohit, double for Vaidehi

Chandigarh, June 8 (UNI) Delhi's Rohit Bisht struck a triple crown and Maharashtra's Vaidehi Bhagwat won a double title in the AITA Super Series Tennis Tournament at the Sector 10 CLTA Stadium here today.

Rohit with his brother Ronit beat Mandeep Singh Gill and Digvijay Singh Mehta 6-4, 6-4. Rohit won the boys Under-16, Under-14 singles and boys Under-16 doubles titles while Vaidehi wore crown in girls Under-16 and Under-14 singles competitions.

Boys doubles U-16 (final): Rohit Bisht and Rohit Bisht (Delhi) bt Mandeep Singh Gill (Chd) and Digvijay Singh Mehta (HP) 6-4, 6-4.

Girls doubles U-16 (final): Garima Vatwani and Shweta C Rana (Delhi) bt Arushi Sharma (Delhi) and Mehak (Chandigarh) 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (11-9).
