Results of Engineering Services Exam. declared

New Delhi, June 8 (UNI) A total of 308 candidates, including 56 belonging to the Scheduled Castes and 20 to the Scheduled Tribes, have been selected for the prestigious Engineering Services, based on the final result of the UPSC-conducted examination in 2006.

The list also includes 94 candidates belonging to the OBCs, while five are physically handicapped.

The successful candidates have been recommended for appointment to Civil Engineering Group, Mechanical Engineering Group, Electrical Engineering Group and Electronics and Tele-Communication Engineering Group.

Announcing the results here today, the UPSC said the Engineering Services Examinations were held in June 2006 while the interviews conducted in May this year.

The UPSC has set up a 'Facilitation Counter' on its campus for providing all information with regard to the results.

Candidates may obtain any information/clarification regarding their recruitment on working days in person or over telephone numbers 23385271 and 23381125.
