New power tariff on anvil

New Delhi, June 8 (UNI) Delhi will soon have a new power tariff, according to sources.

The officials of the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) said the Delhi Government is mulling notifying regulations for the multi-year tariff (MYT) before long. The MYT concerns power tariff for a fixed period.

Once the notification has been issued, the distcoms will have to submit the Annual Revenue Requirement (ARR) for the DERC to determine the tariff, the officials added.
