Kalam arrives in Bangalore

Bangalore, June 8 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam arrived here today by a special flight on a day's visit to Karnataka.

The President was received at the airport by Governor T N Chaturvedi and top officials.

Immediately after his arrival, Mr Kalam left for Hassan, where he would dedicate to the nation INSAT 4B launched recently.

The President would also participate in the Silver Jubilee Celebration of Master Control Facility of the ISRO, situated in the outskirts of Hassan City and would distribute ISRO and ASI Awards to the Scientists and Technologists.

In the afternoon, Mr Kalam would interact with school children before leaving for New Delhi.
