Illegal arms unit busted, 3 arrested

Varanasi, June 8 (UNI) An illegal arms unit was busted in the Ramnagar area here today and three persons were arrested in this connection.

Following a tip-off, a raid was conducted at a house in the Sujabad locality under Ramnagar police station.

Three people -- Tanwir, Shahid and Pradip -- were arrested from the spot along with a home made revolver, crude bomb and other equipment.

The arrested trio later admitted to running an arms unit in the house.
