Heat wave condition prevails in MP

Bhopal, June 8 (UNI) North-eastern Madhya Pradesh continued to reel under severe heat wave conditions with Datia recording highest temperature at 47 degree Celsius.

A regional meteorological spokesperson said heat wave condition prevailed in Rewa, Jabalpur, Sagar and Gwalior divisions.

Light rainfall occurred in isolated places in Jabalpur division, while weather remained dry in other parts of the state.

Showers accompanied with lightning was expected in Jabalpur division in the next 24 hours.
