Bajranj Dal warns centre over Ram Setu
Ayodhya, June 8 (UNI) Bajrang Dal today warned the centre on the controverstial Sethu Samudram project.
Castigating the centre for its ''stubborn decision to demolish the Ram Setu off Rameshwaram coast,'' Dal convenor Prakash Sharma said if the central government did not relent by July 20, a confrontation with it was inevitable.
''The centre is conspiring to wipe the legend of Lord Ram by destructing Ram Setu...no one has the power to ruin His existence,'' Mr Sharma noted.
He alleged ''since the day Sonia Gandhi became the chairperson of the ruling UPA at the centre, Hindu religious spots are being targetted.
She is trying to demolish them in the name of development.'' The saints and seers will be compelled to launch a strong mass movement, if the centre did not concede its demand.
The saints will further decide on the issue at the Dharmsansad here on June 21 and 22, he informed.
