Bachchan trio to rock the world on 'The Unforgettable World Tour'

Leeds, June 8 (UNI) A massive world tour which will bring together the three Bachchans -- Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya -- with Bipasha Basu and Lara Dutta was announced here today.

The Unforgettable Tour -- Experience the magic, announced by Wizcraft International Entertainment, organisers of IIFA Weekend, will have scintillating performances by an array of Indian superstars promising to bring alive the magic of Indian cinema to fans across six continents covering 18 countries.

It will bring the three Bachchans together for the first time on a world tour.

The groovy acts will be choreographed by Shaimak Davar and the music will be rendered by renowned composer Viju Shah. The world tour will commence in April 2008 and take centre stage in mainstream international venues, promoted in conjunction with international partners.

Speaking on the occasion Bollywood Mega Superstar Amitabh Bachchan said, ''The Unforgettable tour is our way of thanking our fans and awarding them with power-packed joint performances from the Superstars of Indian cinema. Thereby, offering our audiences an experience to witness and relive the magic of Indian cinema in lands as far away as Switzerland, the UK, the Middle East, South Africa, and the US amongst others.

Speaking on the conceptualisation of the world tour, Wizcraft Director Viraf Sarkari said, ''The Unforgettable world tour is the brainchild of Mr Amitabh Bachchan himself, and I am delighted and honoured that the superstar and Wizcraft are presenting this never-before seen event to the world.'' ''As in the case of IIFA, the goal here will be to promote and celebrate Indian cinema with fans across the globe,'' he added.

''This promises to be one of the biggest and grandest world tours from India, bringing alive the magic of Indian cinema, on stage. We will have dazzling performances by the idols of Indian cinema -- Superstar of the Millennium Amitabh Bachchan, hottest youth icon Abhishek Bachchan, one of the world's most beautiful women Aishwarya Rai, vivacious Lara Dutta, the scintillating Bipasha Basu and more,'' Mr Sarkari.

The concerts on this world tour will be India's first ever professional product with state-of-the-art production technology.

Another unique aspect of the tour will be the 'The Unforgettable Television series', a never-before televised show that will capture all the excitement of being ''on the road'' with the biggest names of Indian showbiz. Combined with all the behind the scenes action, thus giving the Indian viewers an unforgettable experience.
