11 held guilty in fodder scam

Ranchi, Jun 8 (UNI) A special CBI court today held eleven people, including a Regional Director of Animal Husbandry Department, guilty and acquitted two others in the multi-crore fodder scam case.

Special CBI judge Manoranjan Kavi pronounced the verdict of case no. RC 77/96 that pertained to Godda treasury in undivided Bihar from which Rs 13 lakh had been siphoned off.

However, the quantum of punishment to the convicted would be heard on June 12.

The convicted include former Regional Director Dr O P Diwakar and Supplier Tripurari Mohan Prasad.
