Witness turns hostile in prof Papiya murder case
Patna, Jun 6 (UNI) A servant of professor Papiya Ghosh, also a witness in sensational murder case of professor and her maid servant, turned hostile during his deposition in a local fast track court here today.
During the day, Jitendra Kumar was produced before the fast track court judge of Patna Omprakash as 18th prosecution witness in the case. The witness denied the recovery of looted washing machine of prof Ghosh in his presence from the house of an accused of the case.
On the prayer of prosecution, the witness declared hostile by the court.
It is to be noted that Prof. Ghosh and her maid servant Malti Devi were brutally murdered by the culprits when they protested a docoity bid in the house of the former ion the night of December 2, 2006.
