Spurned cover throws acid on beloved's sisters

Lucknow, June 6 (UNI) Dejected in love, a youth threw acid on three people, including two sisters of his beloved, in Qaiserbagh area here today.

Sammi Ulla alias Sanu, a Pathan, wanted to marry a Qureshi girl, but the girl was married to some other man by her family members.

Vexed over being rejected, the youth threw acid on his beloved's siblings, including a minor, near the Mehra theatre.

Later, Sanu cut his own veins.

The injured have been admitted to a hospital and a case has been registered, police said.
