Silver falls, Gold steady

Mumbai, Jun 6: Silver fell on poor demand and gold remained steady, in the closing session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said today.

Following are the closing rates of silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 18,885 (18,910), Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,850 (8,850) Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold : Rs 8,900 (8,900).
