Siblings get ten years imprisonment

Patna, Jun 6 (UNI) A fast track court here today awarded ten years of simple imprisonment each to two siblings in an attempt to murder case.

The court also slapped a fine of Rs 2,000 against each convict.

Fast track court judge of Patna B K Dixit found sibling Ramadhar Singh and Wakil Singh, resident of Shivgarh village under Bikram police station area of Patna district guilty for attempting to kill a woman and her relative.

According to the charges, both convicts had made an attempt to kill their co-villager Radhika Kunwar and her nephew Umesh Kumar by sharped edged weapons on May 21,1976.
