Rains likely in northeast
Pune, June 6 (UNI) Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, coastal Karnataka and Kerala.
Rain or thundershowers are also likely to occur at a few places in West Bengal, Sikkim, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, and interior Karnataka.
Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.
Mainly dry weather will prevail over west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in south interior Karnataka and at many places in Marathwada and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Rain or thundershowers have also occurred at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, coastal and north interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch and Rayalseema.
Mainly dry weather prevailed over Orissa, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa and Telangana.
Hot day conditions prevailed at isolated places in Chattisgarh.
In the regions where the Southwest Monsoon is yet to set in, day temperatures were appreciably above normal in Assam, Meghalaya, Konkan, Goa, south Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, north Chattisgarh, south Telangana and interior Karnataka. They were above normal in east Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra, Marathwada, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, north Telangana and north Tamil Nadu.
Day temperatures were appreciably below normal in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Jammu and north coastal Andhra Pradesh, and were below normal in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa and southwest Rajasthan.
