Haryana: Cong to form advisory panel for OBC welfare

Chandigarh, Jun 6 (UNI) A state level advisory committee will be constituted in Haryana for the welfare of the Other Backward Classes (OBCs), AICC OBC Department chairman K C Lenka said today.

Talking to reporters here, Mr Lenka said the committee would be constituted soon in consultation with the state Congress president and the Chief Minister and the approval of AICC president Sonia Gandhi.

He said a state-level conference of OBCs would be held in Haryana in October.

An OBC cell was also constituted in the Pradesh Congress Committee which would be headed by Rao Dharam Pal, MLA.
