Pondy: Floral tributes paid to former CM

Puducherry, June 6: Floral tributes were paid to former Puducherry Chief Minister Nenkata Subba Reddiyar on his 26th death anniversary here today.

Chief Minister N Rangasamy, his cabinet colleagues, including Mr Reddiyar's son and Industries Minister V Vaithilingam and Speaker R Radhakrishnan garlanded the statue of the late leader to mark the occasion.

PCC President P Shanmugham and other party functionaries garlanded the statue.

The Chief Minister and his Cabinet colleagues also garlanded the statue of former legislator M A Shanmugham, the father of legislator M A S Subramanian, to mark his death anniversary today.
