Father kills daughter

Kishanganj, June 6 (UNI) A father killed his 18-year-old daughter at Sukran village under Kochadhaman police station in the district.

Police said today that Jahir Alam severely hit his daughter, Zaved Khatoon, with an iron rod yesterday and chopped of her neck.

Later, he surrendered in Kochadhaman police station and confessed his guilt.

Alam was reportedly furious over the affair of his daughter with a boy, a resident of the same village.

''We are investigating the case from all possible angles,'' police added.
