EMC signs up with IITB for Storage course

Bangalore, Jun 6 (UNI) The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) here has signed up with EMC (Benelux) B V SARL, a subsidiary of EMC corporation, a world leader in information infrastructure solutions, to offer course in Information storage technology.

Under the agreement IIITB would join the EMC Academy Programme in India and offer the course to its second year PG students from July this year, According to a release from EMC here.

As part of the EMC Academy Programme, IIIT-B would receive vendor agnostic curriculum, course content, learning materials, faculty trainings and software simulators developed by EMC, to provide training to its students the release said. EMC would also provide programme support in terms of examination papers and sample assignments. As part of EAP, EMC has forged alliances with over 45 education institutions across India and today more than 1,500 students were enrolled in similar information storage and management courses across India as part of the EAP.
