CM inaugurates Police dept website

Puducherry, Jun 6(UNI) Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy today inaugurated the website of police department at a simple function here.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Rangasamy, lauding the efforts of the police department for setting up the website, called upon the police personnel to strive hard to reduce the rate of crime by creating awareness in the Union Territory.

Speaking on the occasion, IGP Kishan Kumar sid all the police stations in the UT would soon be linked with computers.

The website containing details of the Puducherry police, including training, traffic among other information could be visited on http://police.pondicherry.gov.in.
