CBI nabs FCI official for taking bribe

Sirsa, Jun 6 (UNI) The CBI arrested an FCI Assistant Manager while taking bribe here today for taking bribe from a contractor.

The CBI caught FCI Assistant Manager Mahavir Prasad Garg red handed while accepting Rs 3000 from a contractor.

The CBI team later raided the residence of the FCI official and recovered Rs seven lakh in cash and documents relating to several plots and property. They also recovered gold ornamnets weighing 35 'tolas' from his bank locker.
