Call money opens at 0.40-0.60 per cent
Mumbai, June 6 (UNI) Call money rates opened at 0.40-0.60 per cent on Wednesday, slightly higher than their previous closing level of 0.30-0.50 of Tuesday.
Ample liquidity in the money market is well evident from the LAF reverse repo auction which received bids worth Rs 1,02,845 crore in the preceding session.
With cash supply proving sufficient enough to provide for the outflows, call rates continue to trade on the lower side, dealers opined.
Inter bank rates are expected to stay soft at the current levels.
