Bus hits auto, two killed

Karnal, Jun 6 (UNI) Two persons were killed and two seriously injured when the three wheeler in which they were travelling was hit by a Haryana Roadways Bus on the Phurlak crossing on NH-1 near Gharaunda today, the police said.

Those killed in the accident were identified as Kanwar Bhan, driver of the three wheeler, and passenger Kuldeep. Both of them belonged to Phurlak village.

Injured Tejbeeer and Satpal were admitted in Karnal Civil Hospital in a serious condition.

A case under Sections 279, 337 and 304 A of the IPC has been registered against the driver of the bus who fled from the scene after the accident.
