Two get death sentence in abduction case

Sasaram, June 5 (UNI) The fifth fast track court of Kaimur district today awarded capital punishment to two accused in connection with an abduction case.

Judge Jagannath Rai awarded death sentence to the abductors, Ashok Yadav and Bahadur Ram, after hearing both sides.

The accused had abducted Amar Kumar Singh and Ravikant Choubey of Narwan village under Kudra police station area of Kaimur district on November 23, 2004. The victims were rescued and five abductors were arrested on December 5, 2004.

The other three accused were at large as they absconded from police custody during the course of trial.
