Rain lashes Udaipur, brings down temperature in Rajasthan
Jaipur, June 5 (UNI) Heavy rains with thunder showers were experienced in Udaipur and surrounding areas today.
One person was killed as lightning struck a farmer, Bhawarlal working in the field at Dharda village in Bhinder tehsil today.
There were reports of drizzle in other places also.
Except Ganganagar and Churu, weather remained normal in all parts of the state. Ganganagar remained the hottest place in the state at 43 followed by 42 degrees celsius in Churu.
According to weather office, Dabok in Udaipur and Mount Abu experienced 12 mm of rain. Kota, experienced 1 mm of rain which brought the temperatures down to 41 degrees celsius.
Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Jaipur reported a maximum temperature of 40, Barmer 39, Ajmer 38, and Udaipur 37 degrees celsius.
