Poor demand house-sites

Tirupati, June 5 (UNI) The landless poor staged a protest here demanding the government to allot them house-sites.

As many as 200 agitators staged a dharna infront of the Tirupati Municipal Office and demanded allotment of house-sites to eligible persons.

The protesters dispersed on being informed by the Municipal Commissioner that their grievance would be taken up with the government.
