Murdoch calls Dow Jones meeting 'constructive'

NEW YORK, June 4 (Reuters) News Corp. Chief Executive Rupert Murdoch said on Monday he had a constructive meeting with the Bancroft family that controls Dow Jones&Co. Inc. about his billion bid for the company.

Upon leaving the meeting, which lasted several hours in New York, Murdoch told reporters, ''We had a very long and constructive meeting.'' REUTERS JK BST0342
