Judge's son held for rape

Lucknow, June 5 (UNI) The son of an Additional District Judge (ADJ) and his aide were today arrested for allegedly criminally assaulting a woman in Madiaon area of the Uttar Pradesh capital.

The other accused is also the son of a High Court employee here.

In her police complaint late evening, the victim had alleged rape by Amit Bhadauria and Akhilesh Kumar in Jankipuram area.

She further claimed the duo had also snatched her chain and thrashed her.

The accused were arrested this morning in Ghazipur area after a tip-off, police said.

Amit is the son of Barabanki Additional District Judge Shamsher Singh, while Akhilesh is the son of a fourth class employee of the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad HC.

Meanwhile, the medical examination of the victim had been done and the case is under investigation.
