Cong workers protest against police repression

Moga, June 5 (UNI) Congress workers of the district today held a dharna at Baghapurana to protest against alleged police repression and implication of party activists in false cases.

The protest rally that followed was addressed by former minister Tej Parkash Singh, Punjab Congress vice president Darshan Singh Brar besides MLAs Ajit Singh Shant, Joginder Singh and Joginderpal Jain.

The speakers alleged that a large number of party workers had been implicated in false cases after the SAD-BJP assumed power.
