Cong happy about Goa poll performance

New Delhi, June 5 (UNI) The Congress today expressed satisfaction over the results of the Assembly elections in Goa and said the party had won three seats more than the last elections.

Despite its claims, the BJP has ended up losing four of its seats, Congress Spokesman Satyarat Chaturvedi told UNI.

''We will provide a stable government to Goa now and work for the development of the state,'' he said.
