BCCL increases its shareholding in Media Video

Mumbai, June 5: Media Video Ltd today announced that Bennett, Coleman&Co Ltd (BCCL), a Times of India Group Company, has increased its shareholding from existing 7.2 per cent to 11.3 per cent.

Informing the BSE, Media Video Ltd said it allotted 17,33,000 fully paid-up equity shares to BCCL after the latter exercised its options to fully convert warrants into equity shares.

The company had made the first allotment of 26,80,538 equity shares to BCCL on preferential allotment basis in August 2005.

The company may explore the possibilities for another preferential allotment in its real estate division to BCCL in near future, the company added.
