Ancient idols recovered, 3 held
Lucknow, June 5 (UNI) Three burglars were arrested with the seizure of three ancient 'ashtadhatu' idols, estimated to be worth over Rs four crore in the international market, here today.
According to the police, Keshav Rawat, Ram Sajeevan and Ram Krishna Yadav, all residents of Barabanki, were nabbed on a tip-off in Qaiserbagh area.
On the basis of the information provided by them, police recovered three over 4 kg idols, including two of Lord Mahavir and another of Jain 'teerthankar' Bahubali.
