Manipur: 52 per cent pass in HSLC exam

Imphal, June 5: The result of the HSLC examinations was declared last evening by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur.

Private schools performed well, while the government schools failed to notch any of the top 25 positions. The pass percentage was 52

Khumanthem Diana of Nirmalabas school here got the top position, while Satyaam Takhellambam of Brighter Academy grabbed the second position. T Micheal of Thambou High School, Thoubal secured the third position.

Boys performed better than girls. 63 per cent of boys as compared to 49 per cent of girls passed.
