Undertrial prisoner escapes from custody

Bhagalpur, Jun 4 (UNI) Undertrial prisoner Gurudeo Sah, an accused of kidnapping and murder case, today managed to escape from Bhagalpur civil court premises by dodging the police.

Police said here that Sah escaped from the police custody when he was brought to the court from Bhagalpur jail for production.

Native of Budhchak village under Kahalgaon police station in Bhagalpur district, Sah was lodged in the jail for the past two months for abducting and killing a minor girl.

Raids were on to nab the absconding prisoner.
