UN award for AP's e-Procurement project

Hyderabad, June 4 (UNI) The United Nations Public Service Award, 2007 has been awarded to the 'e-Procurement' project currently under implementation in Andhra Pradesh.

This award was given in the category of improving transparency, accountability and responsiveness in the public service.

State IT Secretary Suresh Cahnda would receive the award on behalf of the government at a ceremony in Vienna, Austria from June 26 to 29.
