Two succumb to burn injuries

Surat, June 4 (UNI) Two workers, who were seriously injuried in an explosion in a dyeing unit at Pandesara GIDC, succumbed to their injuries here.

The duo--Amin Lakshman Pathak and Narottam Yadav--died at a hospital yesterday, police said.

The duo was among the 15 workers who were injured in an explosion due to rising pressure in the washer drum of the dyeing unit of the factory on May 30.

All the injured workers were admitted to Puja Hospital and Bharthi Bhaiyya Hospital immediately after the incident.

Police have registered a case of accidental death, sources added.
