Tawade ridicules Pawar's statement on farmers suicide
Mumbai, June 4 (UNI) BJP general secretary Vinod Tawade today ridiculed Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar's statement that 15 per cent debt-ridden farmers have committed suicide.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Tawade asked how many farmers should have committed suicide so that proper action could be taken by the government.
Mr Pawar and the coalition governments at the state and the Centre have failed to control the farmers' suicides, Mr Tawade alleged.
