RJD to launch movement against Nitish govt

Patna, June 4 (UNI) The RJD has announced to launch a movement against the 'rising crime and feudalistic attitude of the Nitish Kumar government' here on Total Revolution Day tomorrow.

In a message, Union Minister of State for Water Resources Jai Prakash Narayan Yadav said, ''RJD will launch a mass movement to expose the real face of the Nitish government, which has failed to curb crime in the state.'' He also said during the movement, led by Railway Minister Laloo Prasad, party activists would demonstrate against the anomalies in the BPL list, the new police and municipal law, which were against the people's interest.

The party would also raise the issue of providing 27 per cent reservation to the OBCs for admissions in higher educational institutions, implementation of Sachhar Committee recomendations and providing job cards and Indira Awas facilities to the poor, he added.

He also alleged that the state government was unable to utilise the funds allocated by the Centre adding that the Nitish government was apathetic towards the developmental schemes sponsored by the Centre.
