PMK welcomes DMK's chucking out of 'pro-capitalist' force

Chennai, June 4 (UNI) Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) founder S Ramadoss today welcomed the chucking out of a 'pro-capitalist' force from the DMK, of which his party was one of the constituents.

Though Dr Ramadoss did not take any names, his remarks were aimed at former Union Minister Dayanidhi Maran, who fell out of favour of the DMK after the Madurai violence, in the aftermath of publication of an opinion poll of the succession in DMK.

''On many occasions I had told Chief Minister and DMK President M Karunanidhi about a 'capitalist' force in his party. I had even asked him to beware of the force. Now the Chief Minister had chucked that force out'', he said.

''Though the decision to chuck out the capitalist force was belated, I welcome it,'' he said, and added that he would hold a separate press meet about that pro-capitalist force.
