National Commission for scavangers to study their lifestyle

Mumbai, Jun 4 (UNI) The National Commission for Safai Karmacharis, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment are visiting the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai to study the socio-economic living, working, service and educational conditions of safai karmacharis or the scavengers and their dependents.

The officials from the National Commission, will discuss various problems relating to them and inform the concerned municipal authorities and representatives of safai karmacharis or the scavengers at the Deputy Municipal Commissioner's office Zone I at Byculla tomorrow.
