Monsoon weak over Kerala, Lakshadweep

Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 4 (UNI) The South West Monsoon has been weak over Kerala and Lakshadweep as the two places received only a very light rainfall during the past 24 hours.

According to local Met Office, very few places in Kerala received light rainfall during the period.

The Met office said rain was likely at many places in Lakshadweep and at a few places in Kerala during the next 48 hrs.

It also warned of strong onshore winds from the South Westerly direction with speed reaching 45 to 55 kmph along and off Kerala coast and Lakshadweep.
