Moderate quake rattles Nicobar Islands

New Delhi, June 4 (UNI) An earthquake of moderate intensity hit Nicobar Islands this morning.

The earthquake, measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale, took place at 0652 hrs, according to the Indian Meteorological Department here.

The quake was epicentered at 09.4 North latitude and 93.7 East longitude.

No casualty or damage to property has been reported, the sources added.
