Micro Inks invests Rs 27.5 cr in Vapi plant

New Delhi, June 4 (UNI) Micro InkS Ltd (MICRO), part of the 239 million dollar Bilakhia group, has commissioned a plant with an investment of Rs 27.5 crore for captive use at Vapi in Gujarat.

The plant will manufacture intermediates at 100 per cent export-oriented unit (EOU) having an annual capacity of 18,000 million tonnes, a statement said.

These intermediates will largely be used in offset printing inks and thereby it will to an extent reduce dependence on external suppliers apart from enhancing printability properties of printing inks.

The company has diverse interests in printing inks, resins, flushed pigments and crop protection chemicals.
