Judicial remand to NDPS-accused

Patna, Jun 4 (UNI) District and Sessions-cum-Special Judge Mandhata Singh today remanded Bimal Paswan to judicial custody in a case relating to the violation of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

The accused was produced before the judge and was later sent to the jail till June 17 next.

According to the charges, 1.5 quintals of illegal 'Bhang' kept in eight gunny bags were recovered from house of the accused situated at Goshala road under Mokamah police station area of Patna district yesterday.
